I’m originally from Western Colorado, a region known for its stunning landscapes and close-knit communities, and now I’m pursuing my passion for communication as a full-time Strategic Communication student at the University of Utah. In addition to my major, I’m also working toward a minor in Campaign Management. My interests center around public relations and social media marketing, areas where I feel I can make a significant impact by blending creativity and strategy. Ultimately, I hope to combine these skills with campaign advising, allowing me to contribute to meaningful causes and initiatives that align with my values.

My dedication to academics is a cornerstone of my personal and professional growth. I have consistently worked hard to maintain a balance between full-time studies and part-time employment. This balancing act has taught me valuable lessons in time management, resilience, and adaptability. For over two years, I’ve honed my customer service and multitasking skills as a barista, a role that has helped me develop a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. Balancing my responsibilities as a student and employee has allowed me to build not only a solid, yet thoughtful academic foundation but also practical skills that I can apply in my future career.

Outside of academics and work, I’m passionate about creative pursuits that allow me to express myself. Whether it’s coloring, crocheting, crafting, editing film and media, or writing, I find joy in bringing ideas to life. I also love immersing myself in thought-provoking media—books, documentaries, and podcasts that challenge my perspective and expand my understanding of the world. I enjoy hiking, camping, and practicing yoga. Above all, quality time with family and friends is what truly fulfills me and brings the most meaning to my life.

I’m eager to continue learning and applying my expertise in communication, public relations, and campaign strategy to make a positive difference in each of the fields I’m passionate about. It is my next step to begin gaining more hands-on experience in these fields. Every experience, both professionally and academically, shapes my journey and prepares me to tackle challenges with enthusiasm and determination.
